Welcome to the McDonald Agri website.
Located on the east coast of Scotland, we specialise in the production of fruit and vegetables. Our vegetables business covers almost 1000 acres split across a variety of crops including broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts and potatoes, producing over 7500 tonnes of vegetables annually.
As a member of East of Scotland Growers, the fife based farmer co-operative, our brassica production is marketed by them to the major UK retailers. Together as a group, East of Scotland Growers has developed into one of the major growers of broccoli and cauliflower in the United Kingdom and Europe.
Alongside the sales to retailers, the business also supplies a growing number of farm shops, farmers markets and the Scottish wholesale trade.
To ensure that we only supply quality produce our crops are harvested and transported to our purpose built chilling and packing facilities within hours of harvest.
In 2016, we further diversified our cropping by establishing a soft fruit enterprise. We now produce blueberries and strawberries in polytunnels during the summer and autumn which are marketed by Angus Soft Fruits.
